Happened in eastern Turkey confirmation on BBC website. Such a shame for the people who have been affected however, I will still be travelling to Icmeler on Saturday

Woke us from siesta, scared me to death! 4.4 or something like, quite an experience, and not one I'd care to repeat in a hurry!

Sitting on the balcony at the Prince Apartments, the whole balcony shook quite badly but luckily it only lasted a couple of seconds.

Felt it during my siesta, and that was without vodka.

I was on the pan, useyour imagination, when it happened. My first thought was OMG i should not have had that chicken vindaloo for lunch. The pan shook slightly and the earth defineltly moved. When I went back to the bar my missus advised it was an earthquake and that the bottles on the gantry had shaken.

lasted only about 2 seconds and was about 4.8 on richter scale
