hello , how is the water in turkey , do you need to buy bottled water to drink ??? is there a best place to buy it from ?
3 weeks for us ...... count down on !!!

Hi

yes you have to buy water to drink but it is really cheap and you can buy it in any supermarket. Some Hotels and apartments also sell it at reception.

The local water is ok but heavily chlorinated with a high concentrate of minerals. It's safe to wash/shower/clean teeth with, but almost guranteed to upset your stomach if you drink it. Water can be bought from almost any small general shop and all supermarkets. Some hotel receptions sell it to save you carrying it from the shops.

always use bottled water except for cleaning your teeth
its safe to use tap water for that
bottled water sold very cheaply everywhere so you wont need to worry about that
