As far as I know certain sunbeds have always been free as long as you purchase drinks from the bar that owns them. I love a free sunbed. :lol:

The rumour is that ALL sun beds are free, I think this is what the OP was wanting to conirm being true or not.

Apparently some bars have removed beds from the beach as that can't charge for them, like I say it's a rumour I've heard so don't know how true it is :-)

I have also heard this Rumour - im hoping its not true as they guys do a great job of looking after you and keeping the beach clean I myself enjoy the friendly banter with them and wouldnt like to see them out of a job ,they say the beach is now public domain and therefore cannot charge you .

im sure some parts of the beach still charge for sunbeds as this is normal practice throughout tourist resorts
but hope the rumour is right :)
