hi all just wondering if anyone has been to charleys place opposite tansas on the main road if so can you please tell me if mehmet is back this year he told us last year that he would be with charlie again this year thanks

Yes Mehmet is back at Charleys this year. Rang him a few weeks ago to see how he was and to tell him we would see him 22nd May. Didn't tell him we were taking my mum for a cheeky week on 1st May though and his face was a picture when he saw her as she's not been with us for 4 years. She loves Mehmet and he had her howling with laughter wihin minutes. Ate at Charleys 2 evening and it was delicious. Back again 22nd May ready for him to make us laugh again. Didn't see Christine this time, wondered if she wasn't there because it wasn't really busy enough as so early in the season. Was surprised how empty most of the bars where when walking around after our evening meals. Hope they all have a busy season x

Stayed at captain silvers a couple of years ago and the bar manager was called mehmet is this the same person?

No I'm sure the Mehmet I know has never worked at Captain Silver. I first met him 12 years ago when he was head waiter at the Love Boat. He's also worked at Yakamoz, The Set, Captain Bulls***s, The Beach side at the Chateau de Ville and ran the Melody hotel in Marmaris for a year. Go visit him at Charleys, the service and food is brilliant.

thats made my day, mehmet is lovely, and i am so glad he is there again this season. we have known him for quite a few years too, and it will be off to charlies bar to say hello in 5 weeks time!
