Hi Iain - your wee one will get a warm welcome in every bar, restaurant, eating place, etc. Can't tell you about the water parks, as I've never been to them, but I'm sure others will be able to answer that for you. The Turks love children and will make a real fuss of her, and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I am sure you and your family will have a fantastic holiday in Icmeler. When you're in the resort, if you have any queries about trips (or anything else) I would recommend popping into the ICR offices, as the girls (and JT, of course) will be only too happy to help you and recommend any trips which would be suitable.

Our first trip to Icmeler was two years ago when our daughter was 16 months old. We stayed at Club Sun Village which has a great toddler pool. As the previous person said, the Turks really are fantastic with the kids - it took us so long to walk anywhere as everybody wanted to stop to talk and wave to her. We took some little toys to the restaurants with us on the evenings to keep her amused, or one of us took her for a little walk while waiting for the meals. A lot of restaurants have fish tanks or water features. The Majestic by the canal had little rocking horses outside to play on and there is also a great restaurant hidden away that had some ducks and rabbits - cant remember the name but I am sure somebody will. We didnt do any trips, except a boat trip with the owner of the apartments which she loved - a life jacket or swim float jacket is a good idea though incase you want to get in the water with her as the boats may stop some distance from the coves and it can be difficult to swim to/from the boat with a little one in arms unless you have a buyouncy aid! We have got one of those float swimming costumes this year. We didnt go to the water parks but heard they were good and have a toddlers area - we are going back in 5 weeks and cant wait.

The ICR office is very easy to find, Iain - there's a main square area (centrum) which now has fountains, etc, in it - the Tandoori Sizzler restaurant is on the corner, and the ICR office is next door to that.

The name of the restaurant with the animals is the waterfall. The Aquadreams waterpark has an area for smaller children with little slides and stuff.
