we live in the Isle Of Man so our holiday starts when we get on boat to Liverpool then train to Manchester then plane to Turkey then transfer to Icmeler
a long day but worth it

The minute I walk out the door of the office, I breathe a sigh of relief and think, yessssss!!! Then it hits me again when I struggle with my case down the stairs of my flat and my lift is waiting for the airport journey, yesssss!!! Then again, when I am walking down the tunnel to the plane and you can smell the fuel, that's when my tummy turns and I know I am on my way. :D

My holiday started when I began getting email updates from this forum again! And I've still got ages to wait

When I start packing the night before I leave with a nice bottle of red to help me fit everything in the case

My holiday started when I booked my flight.... and that was in February! I don't actually arrive in Icmeler until June......

The countdown is just as much fun as the trip itself.

I take the train from Southampton to Gatwick - brunch and fizz to start with...
Then check-in - browze the airport buy some duty free booze
Then it's off that plane and feeling the sun on your face!!

Yes "Tres Excited"

:-)

after weeks of browsing the travel republic site and finding a flight to Dalaman at bargain price, couldn't pass up the one for £148 from Cardiff advertised 2 weeks ago, now the serious dieting to make way for all the lovely food and Effes that await me in 3 wks time, so excited.
