hi Karens when you arrive in resort if you come to the ICR office we can organise a turkish bath for you on that day or for the next day with pick up and drop off from where you are staying. It is highly recommended that if you are going to have a turkish bath that you do this at the beginning of the holiday as it thoroughly cleanses the skin and removes all the dead skin cells ready for you to get a long lasting tan. Let me know when you are arriving and then I can get things ready for when you arrive in resort.

laney, could i ask, are they gentle where you would book us. i would love one, but have a neck injury, and worry they may be a bit rough....also, i am blind as a bat without my glasses on, do they have to be taken off ?

Karen İf you mention to them areas that you would prefer tham to either not touch or to be more careful then they will do this for. It will be possible for you to wear your glasses although you will find they will steam up :) so possible won't be able to see through them anyway. Hope this helps you

I am also thinking of having a Turkish Bath when we arrive in July. I was just wondering what exactly it entails....Is it a massage of sorts? Sorry to be a bit naive lol!

The Turkish bath involves first having a sauna this is to open up your pores, you will then move to the main bath area where you will lie on a marble table in a room that is also heated. The person doing your Turkish bath will have a scrub mitt on their hand (new ones for each guest) and they will then scrub your whole body top to bottom, front and back. You will then be rinsed down and the scrub will then be followed by the soap/foam massage again top to bottom, front and back. After being rinsed down you should feel very fresh and clean, you then have the option of having a relaxing oil massage (extra). It's a great experience :D

The Turkish bath lasts approximately 20-30mins, if you have the oil massage after this would be another 20mins

Dodge, we went as a family and all four of us went in together. Karen - we went to the one in Armutalan and the masseurs were all men, but I'm sure ICR would be able to suggest one with female staff if you prefer. And yes, you keep your swimsuit or bikini on!
