Mint Airways??

Hi - We have had our July Manchester flight changed from TC to Mint Airways - we have never heard of them - does anyone know if they are ok??? Cheers..

We fly from humberside airport with T/C but it has now chaned to Pegasus & we fly at 9am instead of 6.37 pm which is better for us. Seems to be not only us that are affected. But as long as we get there safely i dont mind.

For information:- Mint Airways is a small Spanish airline started in 2009 and based at Madrid Barachas Airport with just two planes in it's fleet. They are Boeing 757-200 series. Average age 17.5 Yrs old - very good planes.
Pegasus is a large Turkish airline some scheduled flights and quite a lot of holiday flights. Nothing adverse to report on either. I have had a few flights with Pegasus and found them to be fine.

Hi Bev and Mandy,,flew with Mint last year to Dalaman.Had booked thro TC who told us that we would be travelling with Mint.Spanish Crew and Captain but very pleasant.Plane fine.

Never heard of Mint airline, sounds ok as long as there isn't a hole in the middle of the planes!

I have flown quite a lot with Pegasus and found them to be fine- rather like Onur, they are a Turkish low cost Charter flight company. No frills or luxury but get you there and back safely.

TC seem to be using other companies planes this year for some of their flights
including Pegasus, onur air, monarch, freebird and mint airways
they are being given each individual companies flight number instead of a TCX (TC flight number)
all the flights with these airlines are bonded

Have flown with Pegasus in the past although booked with onur, and never heard of Mint
I wonder perhaps if TC booked/chartered/took over what would have ordinarily been Aegean flights and are now sub contracting out as they've not got sufficient planes themselves to accomodate those flights?

We to had our flight changed last year from TC to Mint Airways, from Newcastle to Dalaman, did not know until we got our tickets, hate to disappoint but try booking extra leg room because we were very cramped

but you will enjoy your holiday I am sure you will Icmeler makes up for it.

Hi - we fly on 07/07 from Manchester..... so you may be lucky and your flight may not have changed...
