Anyone know anywhere in the old village wherein can
buy honey straight from the bee keeper
01 Mar 2012 14:24
None in the village but if you let me know when you are about to arrive I will pick some up for you when I am out for a run in the country
We pass the bee keepers all the time on the Gypsy Beach trip so can get it all the time.
Don't forget there is more than one type of honey with some flavours being stronger or delicate than others

Slightly off topic, but just to say that when we were going home last year we had a tin of honey in our hand luggage. They wouldn't let us through security until we put it in our suitcase. We bring honey home every year in our hand luggage, this is the first time we've had to put it in our suitcase.
I just think all they had to do was ask us to open the stopper and see that it was honey. It took a bit of re-arranging the suitcase so we wouldn't be over our weight limit.
