I love to read Gene's little stories as much as every one else but we must not rely on him to get us through the winter months. Everyone has their own memories of holidays past and i imagine we have a few budding poets out there, so put fingers to keyboards and get typing. Let's give Gene a well deserved rest (for a few weeks anyway)

Yes it really is dead here - where has everyone gone? Perhaps they've all given up and scarpered back to Icmeler?

I had a text from a friend in Icmeler right out the blue this afternoon which brought back lots of happy memories from the summer, so I thought I'd peek at the board, get a bit of Turkish radio going while I surf and transport myself back to happy, happy times... aaaahhhh

By the way Turkish radio is great for practising pronounciation of Turkish words, but I'm sure my golden retriever thinks I'm barking mad - he's lying at my feet and raising an eyebrow every time I repeat somthing in Turkish

Is it too soon to start counting down to my next trip in May? Ooooh 26 weeks...

can you get it on a normal radio or do you need to listen on the internet?

Well I visit here every evening and ALWAYS look at the various photo's. Might add some more of mine over the next few weeks just to keep the memories fresh
