His account was deactivated.

Personally I like Gene a lot. I seen him and his family as a good but more importantly as a respectful friend over the years. I do not hold any grudges against him for going into a needless debate with me on Trip Advisor in front of the public re virus issues on the forum. He had his arguments on the matter and so did I.

On the other hand, ICR has been around for over 10 years and he knows how hard we worked to build up a good reputation. He was around almost all through out the years watching the growth of this company.

Although he probably does not know, I always seen him as a big brother to us, going out of his way protecting our dignity and name with his solely obejective views on many occasions. He is not a man to back up any single person if he knows the person or the company is in the wrong.

In this case though, for unknown reasons to me, he left ICR under undeserved liability or at least thats the way I felt because I thought he could have easily contacted John or myself directly with his concerns, so in other words we fell out after this incident and I thanked him for all of his contributions in the past..(the least I could do)

Sometimes we are criticized by certain groups on some forums just for the sake of damaging the ICR name, though in this particular case I see my self at fault and criticize my self for not handling this small crisis in better terms.

I should have contacted Gene directly and should have personally discussed his concerns and that would have been a much healthier, professional and friendly approach but under those circumstances and having accusations brought up on a certain forum where we have had dirt flingered at us previously drove me out of control slightly resulting in a poor crises management on my side in this particular incident.

With such disappointment, I had deactivated his account on the foundation of his statement saying he would avoid this site.

Gene is always welcome on this forum and as a sign of respect to him I have reactivated his account and hope that he will be back sometime to continue his contributions which I will consider such as him accepting my apology on this matter.

I have read both Genes concerns and Icr response, re the virus we all encountered , i am sorry rami, it could have been handled much better, maybe then it would not put both of your backs up on the defensive. This man has been your no1 ambassador, and his knowledge of icmeler and advise a asset to the forum members.
I applaud Icr for there reply to (missing from forum) for within it the acknowledgment that gene would do nothing but good for the forum and Icr, and was/is like family, let hope he returns.

 I'd say job well done when redrhino was back on the forum and everyone's computer stopped registering a virus.

Great pity that Gene has left the forum [hopefully temporarily]I personally found his posts both informative and funny, and his love of Icmeler and Icmelerites was infectious.
