The competition is a bit tricky, as my favourite photos are the fireworks ones, but they're not very Icmeler-y, if you see what I mean.

Party Time in Icmeler

Thanks Steve & Gene, and nice idea about how to Icmeler-ize the fireworks

Though I liked the 6th one as well, it's not on a par with Gene's sunrises. Do we get let into the secret of where they're taken from? Mine was from the beach by The Marti, which made it difficult to avoid having the marker buoys in the foreground. Also, I got up a bit *too* early, so got bored and went back to bed before the sun had fully risen over the horizon

Still, there's always next year...

may i ask what cam you used?? fantastic quality! the high aperture on some of the photos really brings them out!! the one with your daughter and the candle is just beautiful... thanks for posting, gets me all excited to go back next year!!

They are mainly either my Nikon D7000 or Rosie's Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR, though there's always a chance there's one of Sophie's in there as well (either with one of our cameras, or her Nikon Coolpix 3000). All of the photos should link through to Flickr if you click on them, though, which should show the camera off to the right (which if you further click on that link gives all sorts of techie details).
