ANTALYA TO ICMELER

Help required has anyone done the transfer from antalya to icmeler and how long does it take (i think it's about 4hrs and require clarification) I am looking to have a short notice quick holiday 24th sept but cant get a flight from dalaman back to glasgow the worry is at the end of a holiday the last thing we want is a long drawn out journey home,if it was on the way out it would be part of the holiday, i know icr do the transfer and i will be droping JT a line but any additional input from forum members would be great

Its 550 kms from Icmeler to Antalya and according to Google earth the travelling time is 5hrs 50mins!
Someone recently had the same problem and caught the ferry to Rhodes from Marmaris and flew home from there.
This may be an easier option if the flights are available on your departure dates.

Thanks for that jay trip I will await JT's reply to my e mail but it is looking to be more bother than it's worth. I think we are just having the icmeler blues since being there in May and the weather here just now is making it worse

I never received a mail from you but here will do

Ali will not do a transfer to Antalya now as we do not have a vehicle spare anytime this season

I drove it in just under 5 hours and you can get a coach from there to Marmaris and it has been done by lots of people but a bit of a treck

Can you get a one way into Antalya and a one way back from Dalaman or Bodrum

JT I did send you an e mail yesterday but now you mention it i have sent a couple before and thought it strange when you never replied. Yes i looked at other options and airports both in the uk and turkey I can get to icmeler easy but cannot get a flight back to glagow in October I think as far as this trip goes we will give it a miss as Elaine does not want to do the long traveling Thanks to all for the replies And jt could you drop me an email so i can see if i'm sending it to the correct address but it is the one i have used before and they are not coming back saying that there is a problem
