Good review Erik, sorry you didnt have 100% enjoyment this time. I hope it never gets like Marmaris, or there will be another two here looking for another resort.

Dont know you Erik but really good report.
When we went this year the lads were telling us the high rent they are now paying for shops, bars etc and it is really tight for them.
If only life could stay the same !!
Keep the faith Erik :)

Really sorry for your not 100% happy holiday Erik!! We had one of the best ones so far but perhaps that could be because the apartments we stayed in were family run and treat us fantastically (we have booked for next year) Our apartments last year spoiled our outlook on our holiday and perhaps the CDV has done the same for you? As we were up in the old village we didnt venture too much into town and had great service everywhere. I agree with your thoughts re: Tandoori Sizzler, i didnt rate the curries last year but tried it again this year and was very pleasantly surprised so well done Hakan and Levent! Here's hoping for a better time for you and your family next year wherever you go :)

Great review thanks Erik, and like the others am sorry to see it wasn't quite up to scratch
We also felt that things were different this year but fortunately it didn't spoil the hol as it was just me and youngest daughter, so that was a first and had a great time in that respect
There were a couple of "incidents" late afternoon/early evening involving staff from several bars while we were there and we've NEVER seen that before - won't put us off going, but they weren't pleasant things to see!
And we've never known it as quiet in the restaurants of an evening, must be worrying for the businesses

We stayed at the Chateau in June for two weeks and I think our opinion of it was similar to yours.Again we ate at the Tandoori Sizzler 4 times and Hakan and Levant are brilliant lads at their customer service, food was excellent too.I spoke to the curly haired bloke at Chateau who is a relative of the owner and was often in the Apollon, about the prices the lad on the beach was charging.Seriously he charged us 8TL for soft drinks!Yes we walked at that point but felt they needed to know why their bit of the beach was the quietest. He said he would speak to the owner as they should have been the same price as hotel bar...which is enough anyway.Little b****r must have been pocketing the rest.Everyone who went down there when we were there complained. Most places were the same as usual and made an effort with their customer service and food standards. We found coco beach a lot better for lunch than dinner!Anyway we will be back next year as soon as I can get the best prices for flights from Bournemouth...but not the Chateau.Loads of places where they will put themselves out for you.I work in the business and if you come in for drinks twice I would know what you drink the third time!Plus I have to put myself out to make you want to come back, cutthroat competetive business! :)
