plank steaks?

HI all as this our 1st time to icmeler,and it probs sounds like a stupid question,lol,but what exactally is a plank steak? Thanks crazy,xx

its a steak served up on a wooden chopping board with piped mash potatos around the edge and vegs in middle yumyum its very nice and very big, enjoy

Same as above, but is served covered in bayoneisse sauce which is lovely. I had one at Vinces on Wednesday, was lovely but the piped potatoes are decieving, there doesn't look a lot there but jesus christ there is loads. After 13 days of big meals I had to leave some steak...I stand in shame.

I had a lovely chicken plank in Vince's in June, just incase you get fed up of steak

After having several planks steaks in Icmeler, we bought some planks from Clas Ohlson in Reading.

Turkish nights with plank steaks, a few friends and some Efes from Morrisons.

I know its not the same, but it keeps us going through the long winter months.
