Hi

Does any one know if you can take home made sandwiches onto the plane, flying from Manchester Airport with Thomas Cook, Have heard lots of different replies but not sure for certain.

Thanks

We have taken sandwiches on the plane home and there wasn't a problem. Most hotels/restaurants will make sandwiches for you but we made our own. Enjoy!! :) Sorry misread your post but anyway we always take sandwiches for the outward journey as well and again haven't experienced a problem.

Food is allowed on the plane, its just drinks you can take through with you, unless you buy them airside.

We always take a couple of sandwiches and a packet of cheddars to eat with our vodka/lager on the plane :D

You'll be fine taking sandwiches onto a plane as we flew with Thomas Cook this year and took some, as well as Pringles :D

We always get a Boots meal deal for the outward journey, which includes a drink.
For the journey back I always fill 5x100ml bottles with water and place them in a plastic bag for checking at security.
I refuse point blank to pay the extortionate price for water at Dalaman airport.
You can put any drink in the bottles as long as they are 100mls,and you can take up to 10x100mls.
I love to watch the reaction of the security staff at the airport.
