19th August Walk to the Flag - All Welcome

Postby Mr Mischief » 05 Aug 2011 06:39

Hi All,

Not long till we go. Have been chatting for some time now about a little wander to the flag to burn off any excess Efes  In previous threads it was agreed that Friday 19th August would be the preferred date.

I know that adewolves, x-raki girl-x and friend are joining me already. Everyone is welcome just reply to this thread and let me know. Will be loads of fun and im sure there will be some cheeky beers after 8)

Last question... Where do we all want to meet in the old town and what time in the morning??

I'll be there, don't know the old village that well so might be better to meet somewhere more central.

Mr Mischief,
May I suggest Sabri's as an advance meet (can talk without hassle) to get numbers and then Tommy's on the day, after every one has directions to get there.

We would love todo this but not sure about the 19th as it's A'Level results day and will depend if daughter gets her grades and a place at University, if she doesn't we will be spending the day on the phone contacting the clearing system.

However post your meeting point and time and we will see what we can do.

Go for it Darren, my youngest daughter will tag along with me and she's only 14, she did it last year, me eldest won't though she's scared of chipping a bloody nail or messing her hair up. Really looking forward to it this year with some members on here, just need to really sort the meet out as time is running out, I'm off on Thursday.

God I've had the day from hell at work.

Cheered me up reading all the posts. So Sabri's is the meeting point. Seems like there is a few of us so will be a giggle.

Guess all of us want to set off early so what time??

Enjoy your Climb, I have to do this again in a month.
Didn't make it last time, on my own and loose underfoot, carrying camera gear.
Enjoy Steve

Are we talking the time we start the climb or the time we meet in Sabris? I know further up the thread there was talk of meeting up in Sabris a day or so before the climb then meet at Tommys on the day of the climb, so we will all know where Tommys is then, I aint got a clue. We started the climb last year at 8 in the morning. Can someone just claify whats going to happen then I can write it in my little book of things to do. :D

I'm not too worried about a meet before hand to be honest as we have a few things planned already and were not even there :D

If everyones happy to meet and set off just after 8am at Tommys on the Friday then great.

Let me know what you think
