Hi all,
we were one of the unlucky families that should of been flying out with aegean on friday 5th august, have managed to rebook for monday 8th with thomas cook, they must of took over onur flights as we are on the same flight number as originally booked, we are now paying more than double the original price with aegean flights! if anybody is still looking try flythomascook.com good luck!

We got sorted last night via Rhodes outbound on Saturday, back from Bodrum on the 22nd, with Easyjet, I think TC must have been working on this overnight with Onur air to get the planes, shame it wasn't earlier as I could have saved a few quid on my return leg but at least we are all going.

Same here due to fly out on 4th september with aegeon flights, rebooked with TC twice the price, still we got a flight can't wait

Hi Dodge,
Pleased to hear you have getting sorted out,sorry you have incurred the additional expense for your holidays.
This flying with T****C****, are you saying they have taking over by filling the spaces left by the withdrawal of Onur Air by using their own aircraft or they chartering the aircraft of Onur Air as the flight numbers are been retained.
As T****C**** are already using other companies such as Mint I just thought on the operational side they would not beable to cope.
Anyway off and enjoy....at least you are on your way, have a great time.

Hi John the flights where booked through flythomascook the carrier is onur air we even have the same flight numbers ohy380 as we had with aegean just had to pay more than twice the price for them however we have managed to salvage the holiday when it looked at one stage we where going to book a package to zante. The flight is a regular departure on a Monday hope this helps some people who where in the same position as us

You got my hopes up there. I looked on the Thomas C+++ site and the there are no flights at all departing at the airport I had booked for (Humberside) so it seems they have not taken over all. Back to the drawing board!

We should have flown out tomorrow but thanks to Aegean we had to rebook with T.C..We have had to pay over twice what it first cost and will only be able to have 2 weeks instead of 3.We was one of the lucky ones who managed to get a flight but now we have to count down again so back to 7 sleeps

we use humberside and lost our aegean flight on 1/9. have rebooked with TC at more than twice the price... and the prices have gone up again today... they fly on tuesdays and we got on the 30/8 flight.

I priced flight only with flythomascook and was quoted £1250 for 2 flights : However can book flights with transfer and acomodation in Marmaris for £526 with Airtours (part of Thomas Cook) for 2, same dates. Guess who's booking a package holiday & only using the flights. Might be useful for others who already have acomodation .

Rebooked flights with TC last night, had to go for 19 days instead of 14 days only paid £56 more than Onur Air flights but got extras, 20 kgs luggage, in-flight meals and seat allocation, so very happy, it was a worry for a while but now sorted, will cost extra for the hotel but who cares, we are going on 10 th Sept.

yes , same here had to re book with Thomas cook from Humberside 2 days earlier, double the price but at least we are going to Icmeler for our 3 week hol, my brother was flying out 2 week before me and couldn't get anything for Dalaman at a reasonable price, shame cos he is going to Zante for 2 weeks and missing out on beautiful icmeler. I really feel sorry for Turkey's economy this year again as people will have no option as to go else where at the ridiculous prices the other airlines are coming up with. roll on 23rd August

Hi marji, Thanks for that. Will take a look and then will have to check with the rest of the party. Would be good if Pegasus started flying from Humberside like they did, I remember going with them about 4 or 5 years ago. We need someone else to fill the market at Humberside as now no Onur air from there TC can (and probably will!) charge silly prices.
