Hi my husband & friends went fishing last year with the guy at bottom of the canal had a good morning fishing out for about 5 hours cost about £10 to £15 each but they did not get to keep the fish. If you go the Tandoori sizzler & ask Harken he will give you the name of a guy that he goes out fishing with. Hope you have a good day & catch lots of fish as i say to my husband fish on one end fool on the other ha ha.

Ste, surprised you didn't ask me ;) as you know me personally!

If you go by the side of Tandoori Sizzler past the Scotia bar and take your first road on the left, there is a fishing tackle shop and they have daily fishing trips.

that sounds like a good day out Bill.
Could you tell me how big the boat was,,, not looking for a massive type thing but with young kids I would need enough room to swing the cat.

We went twice at the end of July - Serem from Marmaris, picked up from Icmeler and dropped back afterwards. Paid £12 each for each trip, booked 2 doors up from Cupid (used to be Unicorn next to it, now a t-shirt "shop"). First time was great, about 14 of us on the boat, all caught lots and really good. When we stopped getting bites he moved somewhere else, 3 places in all. So we booked again - second trip about 20 on the boat, very little caught apart from teeny things and each others lines, not a great deal of interest from the couple running the boat and entirely different from our first experience!
