Bluey white skies as if there was such a thing but thats what it looks like to me with a slight breeze blowing

Back balcony 29 degreesCelsius/85 degrees Farenheit and the front balcony is 49 degrees Celcius/116 degrees Farenheit

Humidity level 19%

Weather station had a few glitches but I think it is all working well now

Power cut this morning hence the lateness of this post

Clear blue skies and a strong breeze blowing to cool things down

Front balcony 31 degrees and the back balcony 40 degrees

Blue skies very breezy still

Back balcony 29 degrees and the front balcony 42 degrees

Even though last night there was a strong breeze blowing there were mozzies everywhere in the town so make sure that you spray yourself

I have seen the mozzie man spraying now and then in the village I have yet to see him in the town

I was bitten on the elbow last night and usually they don't bother me so all that rich tourist flesh will be like a feast for them

Just a slight breeze this morning and last night I noticed the wind was getting warmer so maybe we will get the proper hot weather the next few days

29 degrees back balcony and 40 on the front

The next 2 reports will come from Kas in the Antalya region as we are off on a 2 day sabbatical (well for some people anyway)

Firstly if people want to see mozzies they should come here as there are 1,000's of them, For some reason they left mealone but even the Turks get eaten here

No back or front balcony here just a very nice terrace with an infinity pool to relax in so 26 degrees in the shade and 37 in the sun

A nice breeze blowing and if yesterday is anything to go by then it will be blowing a hooligan later

Just a slight breeze this morning and lots of boats out fishing

29 degrees in the shade and 38 in the sun

Since I went to Kas 2 days ago the temperatures in Icmeler have jumped bout 8 degrees

Clear blue skies with a gentle breeze blowing

Back balcony 34 degrees and the front balcony 46 degrees

I think a high factor sun cream is a must now

Its getting warmer by the day now

35 degrees back balcony and 46 on the front one

I think the new digital weather station will be winging it back to Argos in th UK as according to this heap of junk its been raining for the last 2 days

Clear blue skies and getting very hot now

The breeze we had the last few days seems to have dissapeared so making it feel even hotter

36 degrees on the back balcony and 50 degrees on the front

The digital weather station I waited patiently from the UK is definitely going back as 5 minutes ago it said rain and now after a reset it says cloud so a total waste of money

Blue skies and a very slight breeze will make today even hotter than yesterday

35 on the back balcony and 47 on the front one

I'm off to meet up Big Paul over at Hisaronu for a few hours fishing on his boat so hopefully today will be the day I get my first lure caught fish this year

14th July 10am Icmeler

34 degrees on the back balcony and 50 degrees on the front balcony

Its looking to start out with a heat haze here in Icmeler and Marmaris today but no doubt the sun will clear that away later

I met up with Big Paul yesterday from Hisaronu and we went out for 6 hours non stop fishing on his boat and between us caught 1 and a half plastic bags, a couple of hook fulls of weed, a large rock which Paul had to jump in and free the hooks from and at last a small grouper which attacked the lure with its backside but it was pulled in then put straight back

I had a great day chatting to Paul about our love for Turkey and the area we both lived in, spoke a lot about the ruins and ancient civilizations that were there before us and generally had a great day

Looking forward to doing it again on "my" side of the mountains where we know fish live so we will leave that one for the winter time

Its looking hazy again in this area but will be melted away by the sun later

There were a few clouds knocking around yesterday and it felt a bit humid last night in Icmeler but it looks to have all cleared up this morning

32 degrees on the back balcony and 47 degrees on the front balcony

Clear blue skies and at the moment not a sign of a breeze at all

High factor of course is needed ifyou intend to lay out in the sun and baste yourselves to a golden brown colour

Blue skies, slight breeze and lots of August beetles making their noise and drowning out the sound of the bees here in the top of the village

Blue skies and gentle breeze 33 degrees back balcony 44 on the front balcony

We seem to have had a few strange visitors the last few days as in a giant locust type grasshopper on the door blind, a spider that I did take a photo of which I will show tomorrow and also last night a toad bigger than my hand

Maybe this is an omen and the start of a plague of biblical proportions and the flood is next.

Nah I doubt it as there isn't a coud in sight

There is a strong wind blowing here today and is greatly appreciated as the heat has now been turned up

It feels a lot cooler today as there is a very strong wind so a bit of a blessing really
