Anybody fancy a walk upto the flag towards the end of September? I`ve been meaning to do it for years but i feel this is the year.

We're there 12th as well mate, where you staying? We did the flag last year but went the wrong way, we ended up with the flag behind us, will do it right this year.

Were staying at Faber this year. We've probably met before pal as we have stayed at alvaro for years.

How long did it take to get to the top? You can be my tour guide :D

Hi scunny jim,
Were there 10th till 24th Sept, and a few are planning this climb, I almost made it last time, but due to being on my own, (health and safety, and all that) Didn't quite make it. We will be making arrangments nearer the time.

We've only stayed at the Alvaro once, that was last year, exactly the same time as this year. Me be your tour guide? God knows where you'd end up. I think it took about 90 minutes, must have drunk a gallon of water in that time, jesus it was hot.

Hi, If you go to the technical corner there is a thread on how to upload your photo's. Cant remember word for word so best to look there. :D

with all the interest in people wanting to kill themselves trying to reach the flag you would think that some turkish entrepreneur whould build a half way house so that all you masochists could at least have your last efes before going to meet your maker :lol: :lol: :lol: what a way to go .

... toss up between bulky trainers or 2 pairs of sandals.. i would have to go with sandals :lol:
