We got back on Sunday and I used the Avon SSS dry oil spray and a lemon & tea tree shower gel and didn't get bitten.

Avon SSS has always worked for me, I even spray it on before I leave home as many a time I have been bitten on the plane, since using SSS this hasn't happened, I also use it every night and the only time I normally get bitten is during the day on trips when I haven't used any due to sun cream.

Can anyone recommend a sun cream that contains a mossi repellent..

Think Avon does one or they used to.

Boots Soltan range have one, here's the link;

It's quite pricey but BOGOF at the moment :)

You only really need repellent at night as that is when you get bitten. I spent many years growing up in a country where maleria was endemic and learned a lot! They tend to bite in the dark on your legs if you are seated and they will also bite a lot if skin is exposed in bed. They do not like fans. I have used the Avon sss for Turkey and it seems to be fine but if bites were a problem for me or if going to a tropical malerious country I would definetely use something with Deet. So if anyone has a bad reaction to bites I would recommend the stuff specifically for mosquito's.
