BAR ONE! UPDATE.

Just a wee update. To all of you that have visited Roma and Maggii in Bar One next to the Faber.So far the season is going very well for them, but as normal they still need the customers to keep coming.If you are out and about in that area pop in and have a drink.Thursday night is quiz night with a bottle of wine up for grabs to the winning team.Ruth being the hostess with the mostess for the duration. Zia the chef makes the most amazing meals.Maybe im a bit biassed as they are all friends of mine but after you meet them you will have friends for life.Im back in 6 weeks to see them all. Hi Liz.If you walk down past Tommys but on the canal you will come to a cross roads.if you turn to the left and walk along the road, behind the Ekinci Palace,past Cubana Restuarant and head for the main road,Bar One is about 5 mins walk along the road, next to the Faber apts.Maggii and Roma are a lovely couple(Maggii is Scottish)Tell them I sent you .Hope you have a good time. I dont go back for another 6 1/2 weeks

I went to Venice on the Canal this year for the first time.Food was really good there too, and of course i had to go to Tandoori Sizzler.I have never seen staff moving so quick and the meal was spot on. mmmmmmmm cant wait to get back.Ice cold EFES. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
