we stayed in the navy aug 2009. the
hotel was lovely & clean. did have slight problems with the rooms though, we booked 3 rooms & paid the single room suppliment for 2 of them (mum&dad in one room, a room each for me& my grandad)
grandad was put on the 4th floor in the old building, after requesting a room on the lower floor because he struggles with his breathing (no lift in old building) he complained and was moved to the basement which was just as bad for him. they then offered to move him again but the only room available in the new building was a family room which then meant me & grandad sharing, not what we had paid for. the worst bit about it was that we were out when my grandad agreed to the room change & the man off reception sent a maid to pack my things. it was the horrible, i thought he was joking when he said this, got to my room and she had just chucked everything in my case, you couldnt fasten it and the thought of somebody going through all your things is horrible. we did like this hotel, its in a good location, the staff are friendly & breakfast was ok, but i don't think we would stay here because of the problems we had with the rooms.
