Ear Infection

hey everyone had to take my 9 month old baby to hospital today and hes got a bad cold and ear infection in both ears and we fly out on fri morning, ive got a 2 week course of antibiotic's and hoping this will clear before our flight :( has anyone else experienced this and any idea's how to take the antibiotics when they are ment to be kept in fridge

pack the antibiotic in hand luggage so no danger of getting lost use a cooler bag with a frozen gel pack to keep it cool , you can buy them from loads of places or on amazon 8) 8)

thank you :) was thinking that but was just worried about going through customs as its liquid will this be ok if prescribed, thanks

It will be ok we had to do it about 2 year ago for the same thing, as long as you put it in the small clear bag

I would give your little one some painkiller just before you fly. My little girl is 9 and suffers on the plane every time and usually gets an ear infection whilst we are on holiday :( Hopefully the antibiotics will have started kicking in for your little boy and he will be fine x

just came back last week from tunisia had a broblem with one of my ears this was self inflicted by using a cotton bud had to get drops and clear with a spray the thompson rep asked if it was infected i said no she informed me that they could refuse to fly me if it was so i would be carefull if i were you. :)

Make sure your little one has a dummy or a bottle of milk to drink during the desent, the sucking action will help release any pressure build up in the ear.
