can anyone tell the best route to walk to marmaris, i've heard it's a lovely walk just need a few directions :? :?

walk down the prom past the marti and keep going its a sea walk all the way , well worth the effort and a good excuse for a few refreshment stops lol :lol: :lol: :lol:

I Suggest you only do this walk 1st thing in the morning or early evening its quite a way and it gets too hot during the day.

would like to do it but with a 6yr old on tow i get the feeling he'll be fed up.

hi at least 3 hours in the heat i think it will be a bit too much for a 6 year old 8) 8)

Think we did it in 2 hours last Sept. if you discount the drink stops.
If you go for it then after all the proper cafes you'll come to a small shack on the left with a jetty on the right, stop for a drink and watch the squirrels in the trees, they will come down if you throw some food but the chickens attack them!

Lovely walk I have done many times with great views of Icmeler bay from the cafes along the way, got a shock first time I did it when coming across people skating on the ice rink at the Marmaris Palace in 40 degree heat ;)
