15 Sleeps and no Tix!!

Postby Little Miss Magic » 05 Jun 2011 15:31

15 sleeps to go, but still no tickets. Getting very impatient! Makes it more real when I have them!

I am not overly worried about it yet, i booked in the travel agent, but their website says should have them 2-3 weeks before hol. I guess i will chase them up later in the week if necessary.

Ticketless flight!!! That's a new one on me. I didn't think you could get through check in/departures without tickets?
Might be wrong as it's 4 years since I went abroad last but how do you prove your allowed on the plane without tickets?

Ha ha Chris you just print out your flight invoice and give it to the the check in staff.

First time ever I had a ticketless flight last year and was a bit apprehensive but isn't any different than having tickets really, you just have an invoice instead of tickets

I know it was a little strange last year as I was flying on my own but it was just the same and I think a lot of the airlines might go ticketless at some point

Ive travelled 3 times now on the ticketless flights. As someone already said, just print off the flight details from your email and take them with you. I always print off 2 of everything and keep copies separate so i never lose anything. Enjoy your holiday. Ive to wait another 10 weeks for mine.

Iv been visiting my family in Dalyan since i was little and holidaying in icmeler. So over the past (nearly 24) years i got so used to the ticket procedure. All of the times i have been in the last 2 years have been ticketless. I also worried at first but it is nothing, and it doesn't feel like you have no tickets because you print the ticket (reciept) off from your emails so you still go to the desk with your confirmation :)
