Getting Married.

Postby maggie21 » 25 May 2011 12:03

Hi all,we are hoping to marry in Icmeler Sept this year but are a bit stuck for ideas as to where to hold the ceremony, we dont really want to hold on the beach & dont want a big fuss just somewhere nice we can meet family & friends, as going to be a surprise, they think we are meeting for O,H B/DAY!!! So any ideas from other Icmelites would be greatly appreciated. :D Thanks,

How about an evening cruise on one of the boats and getting married as the sun sets.

Hi Dave we are going to talk to Icr about hiring a boat as sounds such a luvly idea, but would also like to look at other options as my mum whos 80yrs young will be there & may be easier for her if she hasnt got to worry about negotiating the stairs on a boat.

Another idea,

Just past the Harmony bar there is a restaurant with a jetty which has dining tables on but I can't remember its name, you could possible book that and have the wedding at the end with the sea behind you.

Would that be Liberty? Never been at it myself, but seem to remember someone mentioning it had a jetty with tables.
