Fantastic place for a quiet lazy day out. The beach (mostly pebbles) is a perfect place if you were writing a book, sheer tranquility. We take the dolmus from Marmaris to Orhaniye. I'm sure you would enjoy an all arranged excursion by ICR

Great day out. Take the bus from Marmaris main station, leaves about 10ish. Peeble beach with small jetty where you can fish. A couple of little bars that serve food. A few free beds and umbrellas. Dont get off the bus at the Dogan hotel unless you want to explore. Stay on for a couple more stops. Its a couple of years since we did this trip and I belive tourism has caught up in this area. We will be going in June and I will give an update. There is a bus back home about three unless you are prepared to risk the last one.
