First two weeks in August last year most days low to mid 40's in the shade, 50+ in the sun, Midnight I noticed on two different nights it was 34C

I find pouring cold water on your wrists and ankles helps you cool down in the evening.

First 2 weeks in August we find the temperature rises from about 35-40 in the morning to 45-50 about lunchtime and through the afternoon. It cools down a little maybe 36-37 when the sun goes down about 7pm ish, and last year at midnight on a few occasions the temperature was still 32 :)

I actually find it amazing how quick your body adjusts to high temps, within a couple of days I'm fine, lots of drinking water is the key.

the temperature guides found in the travel agents brochures and things like that are a waste of time and complete rubbish
i was in icmeler for 13 weeks last summer
and it was between 48-51 every day for 2 weeks straight it august
the weather was so warm last year that even some of the turks were struggling
