Hiya. You can get the dolmus from near the post office or get a taxi which isnt much dearer if there are 4 of you. The trip is a bit scary at times due to the bends in the road, but the scenery is totally amazing. Jacky(aka fifegirl)

We usually get into dolmus opposite the post office. The dolmus stop is on the main road, just before the road turns into Turunc, close to the Wednesday Market area. We love the dolmus ride, as it's almost like you would be in roller coaster and the view is really amazing. We always come back to Icmeler by water taxi late in the evening, after spending the whole day at Turunc . It's nice to sit on the boat and see Icmeler lights getting closer and closer...

The Turunc bus stop is on the road at the side of the market. There is a timetable on there so check times in advance. A number of times I've been stood at the bus stop and a taxi has offered to take me for the same price per person as the dolmus. Just agree the price in advance and dont be scared to haggle.

Sorry to disagree but there is no timetable at all there, I know as I was given the wrong time a few years ago and was waiting a long time in the boiling hot sun with no shade at all, looked all over for some sort of timetable and there isn't one. Also if you stand there then very many taxi drivers will aproach you and tout for business and in all the years I have been stood there have never been quoted a price similar to the dolmus even when haggling (I am an expert at that) I have been given a good price but please allow more for your budget if going by taxi. BTW- if you get a taxi the driver will stop at the top and you will get some stunning photo's.

Sorry I must be mistaken It never happened to me and I didn't read the timetable last September. I also didn't ride in a taxi to Turunc for the same price as the Dolmus. Silly me
