Hi, went to Icemeler last year for first time & had a chill holiday which was great. Going back this year but would like to do a boat trip. Can you please recommend any trip - is there a trip to Turunc? Any info appreciated. Thanks

If you just want to go to Turunc for the day there is a regular water taxi just like the one for marmaris, But if you want a lazy day boat trip with stopping for swimming etc just drop
ICR an e mail or visit the excursions page on their web site and they will sort you out
Hope this helps

Hi Rab, thanks for reply. Have never been Turunc - is it a small village, has it got a beach, would you recommend a visit & how long does it take in water taxi? Thanks for info.

Off to
Icmeler in July. Been to Turkey before and seen lots of boat trips advertised but never took the plunge because of the following.
We enjoy a beer however alot of the trips seem to be advertised as booze cruises.
Can anyone advise of a trip that's not about just drinking?
We are a group of 5 with a couple of novice swimmers so are concerned about being confined to the boat.
Do novice swimmers have any aids to help them really would like to go in the sea but are worried about not being able to keep up and scared of going under.
Do any of the trips stop off at any of the small villages like Turunc?

The trips we've been on certainly haven't been "booze cruises", and there are usually plenty of aids for non-swimmers on board too, such as the foam "noodle" type things. There are usually lots of stops for swimming and relaxing, and you do go ashore at some point, sometimes Turunc or elsewhere. ICR's trips limit the numbers too, so the boats don't get too crowded and you can get a sunbed.

Hi Springy. I have been on a couple of cruises which might be suitable. One took us to the fish farm, the wishing caves and then to Turunc. This was from
Marmaris on Memories boat. We had breakfast, and then stopped for a swim then visited another few places then stopped for a barbeque lunch on board, before setting off again for Turunc for a couple of hours shopping. There were a few swimming stops en route. All drinks on board were included in the price. Check beforehand otherwise you will pay over the odds.
The Dalyan cruise is good as well. Visit to turtle beach and the mud baths. Meal included but drinks extra on this one.
Hope this is helpful. Jacky (fifegirl)

Hi We have been on many boat trips in the years we have been going to Icmeler. My husband is a non drinker and cant swim but loves being on the sea!!!!!!!. Any of the lazy days trips are good value and our favorite is the A.I. ones run by ICR. There is another one but as it is a rival company I dont think I can mention it on this site. If you e-mail me I will give you details. Heather

From now on Im just doing the AI trip im not a big drinker but like soft drinks, and lots of water in the heat, im lucky if i just have one beer with my lunch, the last time I did a bot trip our 6 fantas 1 beer cost more than the AI trip not ICR,
im not the best swimmer either but the water was deep but very calm, so no worries there

I love to spend a day out on a trip. I will be popping into the
ICR offices to see what they have to offer .....See you all on Aug 5th

As much as we love the beach. Lazy day boat trips are a must. Always do one each week we are there. Never left from
icmeler as its the first time we have not stayed in Marmaris. So looking forward to seeing what is on offer this year. We love the AI, but do like a quieter boat if possible as we like to be sure of a sunbed.

We will visit
ICR office when we arrive.
