watches

Postby laticslass » 21 Apr 2011 18:15

Hi, could anyone please tell me the best place to go for the "genuine fake" watches. i love buying a few of the 3for £20 and usually 1 thats a tad dearer. In the past we have gone to Marmaris watch centre because we were staying there, but this is our 1st time in Icmeler and unsure of our bearings.
Thanks.

A good watch shop is located on the road heading down to the beach from the Main Square just past the Mandalin Restaurant, should find a full range of cheap and not so cheap.

We have always used a stall on the canal, but alas these have been moved this year. If they are still open near the Tansas, then its the one that sells DVD's as well. Never had a problem with anything we have bought from him

Hi there. You can get some really nice "real" fake watches at the wed market in Icmeler. Go for the heavier ones as they look more authentic, so much so that a friend of ours thought it was real. My bro in law got a fake and the stall holder told him to go to the shop at the square( previous comment) to get it adjusted, at no cost. :D

Hi
I bought a "genuine fake watch "( one of my fav things about Turkey :D ) it was a Longines fake but it really fooled a good few people 8) and it kept perfect time for a year until i changed the battery , but for a Tennor great value. I bought it in the watch shop on the main square just past Mandalin as John v said.

Thanks everyone. Looks like this is the shop I shall be going to. Always like my watches. Think I might have as many as the shop in my watch box. But always room for more

The watch my bro in law bought at the market was a fake Breitling and he said that he has actually shown it to a couple of jewellers who thought it was real. As i commented before to you, he told me that you should look for the heavier ones. Hope this helps, and enjoy your holiday.
Melita is the name of the shop.

You can also buy really good 'fakes' at the Wednesday market. My husband buys them there, the heavier the better. He has a couple of UBoats which look really cool, Breitling, Rolex and Tag. Nobody running for a bus would know they weren't real. A couple of retailers nearer home have looked at them and said nothing so they are really good quality. Good luck with your hunt.
