Indeed, our original flight from Glasgow was cancelled - we're now flying out a day earlier. Lots of people seem to have been affected by Aegean flight changes or cancellations this year - from a variety of airports too.

Its down to two reasons:-

Supply and demand, they advertise the flights, tickets are sold but not enough to make a profit, I would imagine they have a time frame where they must cancel the charter from Onur or take penalties. We were hit with this one for this coming August, Mondays Dalaman to Manchester, they have combined two flights into one.

They advertise the flight with expected time slots, when air traffic control across Europe confirm the slots (and it has to be the whole route) thay don't get the slot they planned so a flight get moved around by upto 24 hours either way.

I really find it hard to believe that they don't have enough people to fill the aircraft. My flights have been changed several times ( so have many others) at one of the busiest fortnights of the year :!: :!: :!: just don't understand it :?

Unfortuanetly its not just for the busy times of the year, it will take into account the whole season or at least a major part of it.

On our return journey last year to Bristol we could spread out as there were so many spare seats. We had twelve seats for five of us and we could have had another three if we'd wanted and that was in July.

Yes we had our return flight cancelled with other airports offered as alternatives. When I rang explaining car would be at Doncaster outward flight was changed as well.Going same dates (1st to 15th) so everything OK.
Flying tomorrow as well that flight has not been changed
