We visited icmeler for the first time last year and loved it. The people cannot do enough for you, we also stayed in the bellavista, and have booked to stay there again in June, we loved it. So relaxed no screaming kids..lol, looking over the balacony with a street view watching the world go by. We ate a few snacks in the bar / restaurant but didnt do the main menu stuff, even though we were bed and breakfast, we only had breakfast once, cos our view is eat out whenever you can cos there are sooooo many nice eating places.
The staff in the bar area were very friendly and stella on reception was very helpful.

Hope this opinion helps.

Enjoy ya holiday :)

HI so this is the place for adults only, i was a bit confused as I was told it was the mersoy oriental, are these the same place? Love the idea of having no screaming kids around the pool etc.

Thanks sartranew. This is our 1st time to Icmeler, were in Olu Deniz last August and fancied somewhere a bit livelier. Most of what I have read about Mersoy Bellavista has been positive but is good to get info from someone who has recently experienced it. I am B&B also but will most likely eat all meals out. Is the hotel relatively central?

yes this is the adults only hotel, the oriental is a stones throw away, but with kids, i think all the hotels are very close to facilities and restaurants, old town is only another 10 - 15 minutes walk into Icmeler centre.

The hotel is approx 300mtrs from the beach, we went to the beach everyday, all along the beach front there are set hmmm how can i put it, colums allocated to different hotels, but further down the beach after the temperature tower thingie ( lol ) it is an open beach and we found this more appealing and less hassell, i think it was 5 lira ( dont quote me ) for 2 beds and a brolly, the owners would bring the mats and leave us alone, theres even a changing area and showers, we would venture to Linekars bar ( about 2 mins walk ) for our brekkie / lunch.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cant wait now for 25th June, reviewing it as just made me giddy.

Hi Kevin
I am staying at the Mersoy Exclusive for a week from april 29th - may 6th, I stayed here about 4 years ago and was very happy with my holiday, management , staff, food, rooms was all very good. If there is anything you want to ask or know fire away and i will try and find out during my stay and post you a reply.
Think you will really enjoy your holiday , the manager Riza is very focused on customer care.

If you had breakfast or lunch in Linekars you weren't charged for their sunbeds/brolly, and this is the same with many bars along the beach. We would just dump our things on the sunbed and head straight for breakfast :)
