We have ben going in October for several years and normally the weather doesn't change until after 17th. Last year the rains came a week early and we got wet outside as well as in but it didn't stop us having a great time. We are booked again for this year, the OH is 80 in October so come rain or sun we will enjoy.

Oh my...and didn't it rain, but at least it was still warm, and like you, it didn't stop us getting out and about and having a wonderful time. It has put our friends off of going again in October, but not us, we are booked too. Have a great time Silverfox :D

I have seen Octobers where it has rained quite a lot and very warm Octobers with no rain so could be either way but is probably best to expect warm days, cool nights (I have always needed pashmino on in October in the evening) but I haven't found it warm enough to go into the pool for a few years now- there was a particuarly very hot summer there a few years ago and the pools were warm but not since then (unless you like it bracing!) :o

We were there first 10 days of Oct last year and weather was perfect but needed a cardigan or similar in the evenings. I can cope with that. Will be going slightly earlier this year - 17-28 Sept so will probably notice a difference in the evenings. Cant wait. xx
