Closure of Hotels

Postby redrhino12 » 20 Feb 2011 11:48

During the last couple of seasons a few hotels have closed thus reducing the amount of beds avaliable in Icmeler.
The Munamar
Efes Inn
Litera Hotels.

The Litera has been re-furbed and is open for the 2011 season and will be called The Noa Icmeler Resort Hotel.
But as you see a lot of rooms have still been lost,so my advice would be, dont leave your bookings to the last minute if you want the peak weeks.

Good advice, I reckon - hopefully it will be a good season for all those who have businesses in Icmeler, but it could well pay to book earlier rather than later, especially for anyone who has a particular place in mind. Glad we're already sorted!

Hi, glad we are sorted aswell, someone told me that the Munamar would be reopened as a hotel because sheik whatisname had not been allowed to turn it into a private residence, dunno if there is any truth in it or not

I heard the same except that the top floor would be the Sheiks private suites, the others floors would be reopened. Don't know if there is any truth in it.

I agree with you Katie, there was something missing in that corner. Barbara x

I thinks Johns cough means that the Munamar will be open this season.
So this end of town will be busy again.
