Hi All Can anyone tell me the best way to send money to turkey we need to send some to our hotelier & just been to bank & they charge £30 anyone know of a cheaper & secure way
dont know how much it costs but try HSBC as its a turkish bank as well so it might be cheaper hope it works out for you or send it recorded delivery internationally i sent my boyfriend lots of documents for his visa three times and it wasnt too expensive but secure and didnt take too long not even a week to send hope this helps xxxx
Hi All We tried hsbc first it was them that wanted £30 anyway we have just sent it via post office cost £6.99 & they receive it in Turkey in 10 minutes cant ask for more so thanks again guys & gals for all your prompt replies
If you have sent the money via MoneyGram then this can't be cashed in Icmeler or Marmaris any longer - for some reason a lot of the Turkish Banks do not do this any longer. If you have sent this via MoneyGram then you will need to ask for a refund from the Post Office. The nearest place to cash MoneyGram is now Izmir!! Best bet is to use Western Union.
