A question about Sun Village Apartments

Postby sooze29 » 10 Aug 2010 12:07

I've booked the above apartments for June next year, but on reading reviews everything appears to be about Club Sun Village. Has anyone stayed at Sun Village and can recommend or send me some photos of the hotel. Many thanks

Many thanks, I had seen that but wasn't sure if it a mixture of pics from Club Sun Village. Unfortunately I have just seen a review about this hotel and it wasn't very good, although all previous ones were fine. Not sure if it was just a one off or whether we should rebook the Sun Village.

Many thanks

That's great thanks, only I read a not so good review and you just never know. Someone people post a bad review about a hotel because they didn't like a particular guest!

Anywhere you recommend we go when we stay there as it's the first time to Icemeler?

Hi

The sun village apartments are fine. :) I was there with my family at the end of june - there was 9 of us in 3 rooms and we had a great time. Staff are friendly enough although they can be a wee bit in your face at times.
Only bad point was the cleaner.....she didnt really clean and the linen and towel changes were abit haphazzard. If i went back again I would make sure i took some flash wipes with me and maybe a mop if i could fit it in my case(kidding).

Friends stayed there this year and said they were fine - though apparently, the flash wipes may come in handy as the cleaner isn't shall we say the best there is?!
We visited them and have to say that the pool and area around it is great - plenty of sunbeds, no having to get up at dawn to throw towels on them and it's in the sun all day

We are considering booking for next year, just debating whether the pool area's enough to swing it for us after having stayed in town thisyear

I walked past them on Wednesday and they look very nice. The pool area looks great, and no loud music playing.
