This year for us it is the Titanic.
Kids meals £1= 2.30 lira x3.
Steak meal 27 lira
Ottoman kebab 23 lira (i think )
And Martin is the perfect host.
The best steak I have had in a long long time.
Typical price for mum ,dad, 3 kids 100 lira.
Thats with a bottle of wine, and 2 rounds of drinks +free ice cream for all.

try the Bonjour hotel and Chef also for taste of original Turkey try KAREMS next to the canal (little venice) and Cupids on road down to beach. Worst we tried was Sizzlers next to Icmeleronline office.

Having just come back from Icmeler and staying in the old village so tried some new places this year. The Wayside is excellent - my daughter loved their meatballs. The Lighthouse in the main square was also superb - I had their steak and it just melted in the mouth. The others that are were on a par were friends, Dejavue but the best value was the mandolin where a set meal for chicken was 15.50 lr - soup, any chicken dish and then ice cream or tea/coffe, lamb set meal was 24lr. Also the Peiking duck with all you can eat of a special menu for £8.99 or 20lr.
So many restaurants to choose from and so little time - the biggest decision of the day - where to eat in the evening.

Hi rew,
The Turkish Delight is located on the site that used to be the Pyramid next to the Titanic and opposite Pleasures Nightclub

Its a new restuarant this year located on the corner of the canal opposite the love boat. Its run by Hussain who used to work at Romance.

Hi, just to correct you, Broadway is not run by hussain from romance,he has only recently joined the team here. Broadway is run by Ugur, ex Noel and more recently ex Titanic last year.

Although i havent been this year yet, have heard some great reviews about this place and so happy for Ugur and the guys.

Just got back yesterday. If you like your steak, the best one I had was in the garden restaurant. We loved the place. You don't get the sardine felling you get in some of the other restaurants. We had several meals where I could actually taste what the person on the next table was eating. I'm not going to name any names as these restuarants had great entertainment, as the food was good. I just like a bit of space, and not to to share my conversation with seventeen strangers.

Back to the garden, I always ask for my steak rare, and this was then only place I actually got a rare steak. Elsewhere, some were even well done. Not a pink bit in sight, never mind any blood! Shocking!

Hi MoodyBlue,
The way to the Lal restaurant from the Efendi is to come out of the Hotel and head up the road that leads past the main square and up too the top road that goes along to the Tansza supermarket.
Do not head to the Tanzas but go straight across this road past the Romance restaurant and the Babadan Apartments and the Lal is just a little further on the opposite side.

Broadway was tops for us again this year and really nice to see Ugur.
Wayside also good but thumbs down for being the only establishment over the past 7 years to levy a charge for a birthday cake following an 18th celebration and a party of 19 - It was paid but not without an opinion voiced as at no time during the arrangements did he mention a charge - which was not even nominal!
Due to this he wont get my custom next year - his food may be fantastic and a little bit different but he got greedy on us.
