Sharon, what can we expect at this time of the year? I thought Icmeler was packed up after October. Are pubs/restaurants open - will the dolmus service be the same? What about trips etc? That would help me decide and might help others too.

Icmeler is very quiet in the winter months, with a few of the larger hotels open and a few restaurants, but marmaris does have a number of hotels open with good deals for this christmas period. Restaurants and bars and a few nightclubs are open in marmaris albeit not as many as in the summer, but quite a few. The dolmus service does run from icmeler into marmaris during the winter months.Excursions are not available in the winter, but the markets still run in marmaris and in icmeler, just on a smaller scale. Flights are also of intrest to people that want to visit relatives and friends living here in the winter months.Icmeler is quiet in winter, but again icmeler is always what you make it.
