Nearly there...

Have only got 10 more sleeps until we see Icmeler for the first time (hence the username!). Can't believe it's come round so quick - nearly everything ready packed but need a little advice - can we take fruit cordial with us - don't want the kids drinking coke all day!!

You can but obviously not in your hand baggage. It is a bit iffy in your case though as is heavy and imagine the mess if the bottle leaked/broke. In the little shops and in Tansas you can buy packets of powdered cordial in different fruit flavours that you mix with 1 litre of water, they are cheap and I love them, am sure your kids will.

Thanks Chocoholic (nice name by the way - do you live up to it?)

Do you know what they are called and what they look like so that I can look out for them.
Cheers

You are welcome 1st timer and yes I do live up to my name! Cant get enough of chocolate, if I am sad, happy, been busy- any excuse lol!
I cant remember what they are called but if you ask any propieter of the many shops that you see around that sell just about everything and usually open 24 hours they will know what you mean, they are in a packets/sachets and have a picture of the fruit on. These shops are very handy but are a little more expensive than Tansas (easy to find and on the main road) I do not advise going to tansas to ask for these though as none of the staff there ever seem to speak English! I believe they are near the tea bags and other drinks in there though (of course!)
Have a great time but be warned- you will be addicted and you will spend every waking hour re-living your holiday, wishing you were there and dreaming of the next one! :P
