Day 1.had good flight from Birmingham on time arrived at dalaman at 2.20 am this morning got on the Tommy cook cattle coach arrived at efendi hotel at 5.15 not bad time second time in 20 visits been on a coach so checked in straight pillow woke up at 9am nice hot shower then walk to my local champagne bar 2 full English breakfast 2 coffees 2 cokes 31 lira bit early effes but priced at 7 lira , decided go beach few hours along Deniz kapiz karaoke bar few clouds sky but nice warm decided go cupids watch footy temp 30c ,haven't ventured much yet the alinda hotel work being done building site just having few more effes later ring the other half update then champagne bar for meal then probably go see zaza Ida battery running low so go for now do longer blog tomorrow prices evening meal

Day 2. Had a nice chicken sizzling meal at champagne bar last night washed down with few effes decided to go walk went to Ida see zaza had few beers then went cupids for night cap.woke up this morning sound barking dog at 7 in morning but hit pillow till 9nice hot shower seems be constant hot water ,had breakfast at champagne second day again full English my son burnt feet leg yesterday so we decided stay not stay round pool or beach and got dolmus to Mar Maris had walk round harbour and few beers watching world go by ,got the taxi boat back icmeler at 10lira each then went cupids watch footy gone over my effes quota for daytime went back hotel for sleep,bit cloudy today at times but still nice warm ,exchange rate 2.7 in cupids writing blog restaurant quite full just ordered pepper steak 33 lira my son chicken fillet 18 lira goodnite for now

Day 3; well what a day rain clouds not much sun so good excuse to fill up with effes afterwhy notmy 3rd english breakfast 7 lira you cant say no .whilst eating our breakfast rain rain so what now bag ready with suncream and beach towels we went walk round ended up in cupids sank around 5 effes 7 lira a bottle not bad still cheaper back home in champagne bar at moment just had best pepper steak so tender rate today 2,72 sorry short writing phone my son hogging the tablet ps.were wearing jumps chilly nite

Just got back tablet sat in cupids 16c but effes still going down well hopefully weather be better tomorrow I got go home with a tan or my wife say been bar everyday 'no need for air cond at night just a sheet at moment I find out for you how much fridge cost,still building work going on in past 1st may it all stopped but still going on pig whistle bar opens this week man stopped me morning remembered me years ago haven't seen much rubbish in streets earlier posted perhaps they got act together anyway just going have few more effes and then hit pillow till cleaner wakes us up

Day 4, got woken up in night by rain woke up at 9 am nearly went t#ts up on balcony due rain went to champagne bar have my full English keeps me going till evening , went to beach down the Denis kapiz few hours lot cloud but still warm some bloke from Sweden sat near me gave me a booklet on Jesus christ ! ! Any way decided call it day down beach only put sun cream on once due to cloud ,sat in cupids having few effes temperature 29c exchange rate 2.74 later off watch footy haven't decided where to eat

Day 5, eat at cupids last night me son had chicken fillet something not to exotic was not feeling 100% when I got back from beach I was a bit burnt cloud sun I didn't think I need much sun cream anyway stayed in cupids till 11.30 just drinking water .woke up this morning feeling good amazing what a night off the effes can do for you looked outside no cloud went off to have my 5 a day eggs bacon sausage been mushrooms ,had to go buy some sun cream I brought with me some new nivea spray its expensive and not good like deodorant ,hit pool for around 3 hours hot best day so far pool freezing coldest ever know it ,my son starting to get bored around pool so went buy are annual DVD 11 for £10 .changed £100 got back 272 lira not bad ,had walk round square still looks good speaking to bar owners its quiet moment still early season few weeks school half term so hoping get busier ,currently in cupids having few effes temperature 36c at 4.15 pm its getting hotter tonite back have meal at champagne bar I know so many places to eat but we like these best normally same menu everywhere chicken dishes 18 lira steak 30 lira effes 7 imported spirits 10 lira speak u later .

Day 6, well never been woke up before by earthquake at 6 amson got up whats happening lasted few seconds so got up at 9 got ourselves push bike explore old village turunc bit far so headed to marmaris fab view bay on way beachand marmaris seems lot more busier than icmeler a lot building work still going on rode around harbour and through bar street head back icmeler stopping of mcdonalds mega mac meal 17 lira.temp today 33 c sat in cupids few beers

Day 7. Well another tremor last night about midnight ,woke up this morning packed our cases took 2 minutes father son on holiday yep living out are cases ,had full English in cupids very nice then went walk down beach sunny warm then cloud took over so no sunbathing been sat bar all afternoon last effes till tomorrow night back to fosters strongbow, sat in cupids at present 5.30pm 24c going have last meal around 7pm get picked up at 9.30 then back to Gloucester.overall I've enjoyed my stay in icmeler never been anywhere else last 11 years so its like home from home won't be back this year off to Spain in august probably wishing we were back but who knows I will be back soon for sure

Im in Gloucester now Kirky may and its cloudy and we had a drop of rain this afternoon (again). Hope you have saved some Efes for when we go out there in July
