**** NON ICMELER CHAT THREAD.****
Posted: 18 Oct 2008 14:16
by Colette
It's that time of year approaching where the forums go quiet, so we introduce a chat thread where you can discuss non
Icmeler things, and generaly chat amongst yourselves.
Same rules apply.
No text style language.
No abusive comments towards other memebers or abusive comments in general.
No fighting, there are no right or wrong opinions, so lets play nice.
So lets chat.
Also in the photo forum I am putting a Non Icmeler Photo Thread, so we can post pics of other things that we want to show off or might be of interest etc.
Have fun
xx

Hi Steve
Sorry about your job. I work for a property developer (at the moment) I could be in the same boat as you in a couple of weeks. We have been guaranteed our salary this month only.
This is the first time in years that I have'nt booked up my next years holidays. I dont want to tempt fate.
Still it does'nt stop me looking

This is my first shift back at work, I thought I was back in work on Monday and Tuesday, but had a pleasant call Sunday afternoon to tell me I was not back in until Wed nightshift.
Oooh I wish I was back in the sun.

There is an antique dealer in Plymouth called:- Robin Bastard.
I'm not kidding, its true.

Sorry Sanjo but he is either an urban myth or as follows a bad dream......
I wanted to tell you about a man who ran an antiques business in Plymouth. He called himself Robin Bastard. He had one leg and a wicked twinkle in his eye. He became one of the most forceful dreams in my emporium. He was as brave as I was fearful. Of course this was nearly thirty years ago, and even I was a little braver in those days.
Do you remember him?
He and I had a daughter, Grace, who is the most beautiful dream in my emporium.
We buried Geoff (Robin Bastard) at sea in May 2002 but he arose from the waves, via a belgian trawler, the following year and had to be reburied. That was a bad dream.
I will tell you more next time.

We were babysitting our Grandson last night, so only had a couple of Vodka's.
Not a bad day in South Wales today, dry but cold.
