Ha ha Mansy, can't believe you've actually read all about the 'Blyth Riviera' ... Hope you were impressed and had a word with Mr Mansy to cancel your Icmeler hol and visit!

I've been sad enough to read about your Castle etc and the description was and I quote ... 'Mow Cop is an isolated village which straddles the Cheshire–Staffordshire border' ..... Oh dear

Yes geordie1970, that's Mow cop. It is very bleak in winter, very windy most of the time & very quiet.
No matter where you go from here it's all uphill going home. The views are fantastic.

Blyth looks rather nice, but Icmeler is "home"

Just been on web cam, it's dark & windy.

We have to have extra strong pegs for our washing up my neck of the woods, otherwise I'd be fetching it back from top of the castle  a 4 wheel drive is a must, I stand more chance of catching a ghost than I do a bus, we have no shops, 3 pubs, but it is beautiful & I love it (not as much as Icmeler though)

Hi Geordie,
The camera works on my Laptop (very jerky), but not not on my mobile....(android) It could be that the 'New' connection is too slow for mobile devices or that their software can't handle the demand, :? :? ...
Steve.

Looks like things are starting to move, been on the web cam lunchtime and it looks like the clothes shop is open, can see a few rails of clothes under the canopy, sham the picture is still jumping every 3 to 4 seconds.

Just been on the web cam for a fix, it is very hit & miss. It's day light, but not much going on, 1 man walked past. No clothes out at the shop under the canopy. Maybe in the next few weeks it will spring to life.

We'll after the buzz of 'being on' with the iPad last night for a few minutes then it's went back to 'operation could not be found' tonight!

I just want to see 'my' Red Cortina again!

Red cortina is still there, just been on to look. It looks sunny over there but people walking past all have jumpers or coats on.
Then again the Turkish are bound to feel the cold more than us weather beaten Brits.

Mansy just had a spy before Bath & Bed and I managed to get on! :D

That's the good news .... The bad news is that 'My' Cortina's been swapped for a Lada by the looks of things!!

Anyone over there can you keep a look out for 'Colin the Cortina' as I don't want 'Larry the Lada' ..... Cheers

Just tried to have a look at the web cam, the page seems to have changed. Wouldn't work anyway.

It's working again, but the page has definitely changed. Some chairs been put on footpath, don't know if they are rubbish or there for the Turks to sit on, as they do outside their shops. Can't wait for Icmeler to spring into life. Even more, I can't wait to walk past that camera & wave.
