Piz Burn have discontinued there oil free lotion i wrote to them and they said we no longer market Oil Free Piz Buin® products do any other members know of any other oil free lotion its the only one that stops my Prickly heat

Have read this article but does not help its the oil in the sun lotions that block your pores and causes the Prickly Heat thats what a Chemist told me

It makes me wonder if non-greasy means no oil, the Chemist may be able to check the ingredients and validate, also La Roche Posay is available on prescription.

I would ask your Doctor/Chemist, I hope you find one as my friend suffers from the same problem but Piz Buin didn't work for them,

Gayle, have you tried looking for the Piz Buin stuff on eBay? I've managed to buy other discontinued stock on there, so might be worth a shot?

My daughter suffers with prickly heat so we have been using a sun cream from a company called Green People since we saw a write up about it in a magazine. We purchased it online and it worked it really is brilliant, however, the highest factor they do is 15 and my daughter did start to burn last year. We didnt want to stop using this cream because she has prickly heat so bad, but also obviously didnt want her to burn so we paid a visit to the chemist on the square and explained the situation. They were so helpful and sold us a sun cream of a much higher factor and they assured us she wouldn't suffer prickly heat and she didn't. The silly thing is I didn't make a note of the name of this cream but I will ask them in the chemist again this year. If a factor 15 or below is suitable for you I highly recommend the Green People, check out their website.

HI I started to suffer with prickly heat a few years back and I have found ultrasun sensitive once a day is brilliant, they don't have anything lower than a factor 20 it gives you a great tan. I buy it from john lewis or you can get in online. I have just got one at weekend, £15 for 100ml with an extra 50ml I got the shimmer one as it leaves a lovely golden shimmer on your skin.

I swear by SImple suncream, oil free and lasts ages, best still, you can usually get it on BOGOFF In Boots or homebargains. I think they do factors 50 down to 8

yes i agree Tarnlass ,we got some for this year and they do up to factor 50 for face and body ,only one application per day too

I've had prickly heat a few times and I was advised to use Delph which was good, supprisingly it's a cheap cream and I found some in a bargain store for £1 a bottle. Try that one
