Postby booker » 02 Mar 2013 11:18

Now xmas/new year has passed, the month of march is now upon us, the serious count down is very much underway, i have still 11 weeks to wait but wake up every morning getting a little more giddier than the day before, is this normal, "you're a 44 year old man my wife shouts...its only a holiday" lmao :D

Exactly the sme behaviour from this 44 year old man...& the cries from my wife are pretty similar.... Clearly it's our age mate!

Same scenario in our house too, I think it's because I do all the organising - booking, paying, saving etc. I get a lot more excited before my wife does. She says the same - "it's only a holiday and it's xx months to go yet".

To be fair, she does start getting excited about 1-2 weeks before we fly. I'm fit to burst by that time lol.
My daughter is also excited but unfortunately she has a lot on her plate what with her GCSE's and college applications this year... She get's her results the day we return so hopefully they will be good results (even though I've promised her driving lessons if she gets six Grade 'C' or better).
