Glasgow Airport Check In

For the past two days Radio Scotland travel bulletins have been advising Thomas Cook and Thomson customers using Terminal 2 at Glasgow Airport to book in an hour earlier than you normally would. I believe that this has something to do with the check ins being done manually and there is no mention of how long for. If like me, you are flying out this weekend, it might be worth your while checking with your airline. At least I can go back across the road for breakfast after getting shot of the cases.

Could be extra security checks with this weekend being the 10th aniiversary of 9/11 which in my opinion would be a good thing.

I thought of that too but wouldn't every airport in the UK be doing the same thing? Glasgow is, after all, still under the BAA flag.

True, but Glasgow was the only airport attacked since 9/11 in 2007 and it's possible management are being extra careful.
