Only 5 days here so home Monday but after 2 days I seem to have done it all in Benidorm.

Weather totally rubbish at the moment but still better than UK.

Off to old town to maybe do a bit of Xmas shopping.

Colette I can´t get all the booze you asked me for on the back of a donkey never mind in my suitcases so you will have to do with Netto gear when I get home

Might see you there Admin. I am off on the 12th for a week.

Hi everyone hope you are all well and in the Christmas mood as it is only 19 sleeps till the day   I am getting a real tree this year hoping to get one over the next couple of days, how exciting :D

I went shopping today and OMG!!! why do peoples personality change just because its Christmas? we were pushed ans shoved with no apology, and children didn't dare speak without getting shouted at !!! what a shame ey? why get stressed as i buy what i can afford and buy gifts for those i wish to buy for... spending time with family and friends is far more important.

I am working 10 - 6 Christmas day so i will be celebrating mine on Boxing Day :D

Happy shopping to you all :D
Take care x x

I finish work on 18th and dont go back till 5th of January!!! I have never had time off over Christmas in my 21 years of working for the NHS, but now I have an assistant, so I can spend time at home with my hubby who also has lots of time off...... nothing worse than having to get up at the crack of dawn on a freezing morning, while he lies in bed, knowing that he will be in the warm, chilling, watching a few old movies on TV. Well this year I will be joining him yippppppppppeeeeee. Hopefully we will be able to go for long walks with the dog and enjoy some special time together, and go and see our sons as well. I cant wait. :D :D :D

Hi all,

I have been told about something which really upset me tonight about hospital care of the elderly, (by a health care assitant at my local hospital) I know this is not the place to discuss it, but would be grateul if someone would pm me a suitable forum or somewhere where I could discuss/get advice on the subject anonymously.

Thanks

Well, I think I've got this flu bug which is going around at the moment. I feel awful - I can't get warm, can't stop shivering and I ache all over. I think I've got aches in places I didn't even know I had!

Thanks Dotty, nice to be back.

Blondie, I have the bug also. Been up since 3am this morning coughing and sneezing, so will probably be hitting the sack very soon.

Just back from Disney Paris Niamh had a ball and I am back quite a few pounds lighter and I don't mean weight I mean purse. What an expensive place and not just the park give me Icmeler any day. A large beer cheapest was 5.50 euros and as for eating you really don't want to know. So all those complaining about the price increase in Icmeler believe me you are still getting very good value for money.
But Niamh had a great time and that is what matters isn't it.
Oh yes and boy was it cold absolutely freezing.
