Posted: 12 Nov 2008 10:47 pm Post subject: Wurzel' Challenge...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hiya all,
whilst sat here this evening me & mum have been talking about our weekend...we went down to Somerset to visit my aunt & uncle. While we were there on Saturday night we went to see the LEGENDARY wurzels (as you would being in somerset & all)!!!

We've come up with a Wurzels/Icmeler challange....

Some of you must remember some of their songs from the 1970's, Ive got a brand new combine harvester, I am a cider drinker, etc. Well we would lilke to challenge you guys to re-write parts of the Wurzels songs to fit ICMELER.....

To start you all off....

I am an EFES drinker, I drink it all of the day, I am an Efes drinker, icmeler soothes all of me troubles away... OOOHHH AAARRR!!!

So I challenge you icmeler lovers, lets see what you can come up with...

Ps: the Wurzels are wicked to see live if any of you are wondering...& Im only 23 & loved it....

Photo contest?

Postby pdbartlett » 13 Nov 2008 22:09

Anyone up for a Icmeler-related photo contest, to help bring back good memories over the cold winter months?

If there's any interest I'll start a thread in the photo gallery where people can post their entries, then two weeks or so later start another one for voting (3 votes each, say).

I'm afraid the prize would just be bragging rights (or maybe an Efes if you're out there the same time as us next year :D), unless of course ICR have any goodies to donate.

Sound like a good idea?

- Paul and Rosie.

Yes, lets have a bit of fun with our Icmeler photos, that will be good. Anything to help get these winter months behind us until we can get back to heaven will be a blessing.

I am struggling, trying to get photos on via that "bucket" thing, Im going to have to get advice from the younger genaration
then I can respond "in kind" , are you listening Colette
Thanks Peli

Peli dont stress over the photo bucket thingy, everything is only easy once you know how to do it.

I am sure I have read on previous threads that people have emailed Colette with their photos and she has uploaded them on the photobucket and then put them on the site. If she is not around tonight, I am sure she will be only too willing to help tomorrow.

hi Peli
Yes it is great at my age, get up when you want to, do anything you want to, sometimes I feel like an 18 year old, unfortunately my wife objects to me having one lol.
Roll on May 2009, and our return to heaven :D :D :D :D :D
